Thanks Gary. My surgery went extremely well and I was released to
come home from the hospital yesterday (only stayed overnight due to
the amount of pain meds I was taking and with them adding more to the
list by giving me Dilaudid-great stuff that was). It was pretty
painful the first day, but it has been getting less and less paqinful
with each passing hour it seems. I just hope it corrects the problem
and not just arrest it. I may still need to undergo some physical
therapy to regain full usage of my right hand, but that's okay as
long as I continue to show improvement.
As for the quitting smoking, I doubt that I would have been this
successful without the loving support I've been getting from all of
my family memebers and friends both locally and on-line (especially
you guys within the pancreas groups). All of you make me feel as if
I really accomplished something monumental by quitting smoking and it
has been greatly appreciated.
I hope this finds you having a pain-free day. Also, please forgive
the typos since I am still having trouble typing with this soft-cast
on my arm and all...
Andre'
Thank you, Denise.
